Position Purpose:Produces high quality radiographs while providing professional and quality care to the patients. Ensures that radiographs are taken in accordance with the State regulations and in conjunction with the ALARA principle. Is able to operate all equipment to include DR, CR, fluoro, diagnostic rooms, portable and C-arm machines. Is able to perform the variety of exams that are performed in diagnostic radiology and the OR. Identifies care needs of patients/significant others and implements interventions and utilizes equipment necessary to meet the specific needs of the patient population served to include: neonates, infants, pediatric, young adults, middle adults and late adults.Job Description Details:

Minimum Licensure & Certification Required (if applicable):

1.  Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Registry eligible.

2.  Licensed by State of Maryland.

3.  BLS Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

1.  Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved radiologic technology program.

2.  Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
