Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in legal, criminal justice, or accounting.

OR - Graduation from an accredited two-year college with a degree in legal, criminal justice, or accounting coupled with four (4) years of professional experience in performing  analysis of large datasets and investigations in support of criminal and/or administrative investigations.


Experience working in an investigations department with a hotline

Training or experience with organizational investigations or with related training or experience in the paralegal or legal fields.

Certified Fraud Examiner desired

Salary range: $59,721.00 - $82,116.00

Job Summary/Essential Functions:

The Investigation Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and administering the OIG hotline, whistleblower and case management tracking systems (CMTS) for the Investigations division of the OIG.  Assist in many aspects of the OIG investigations function including but not limited to assisting in spread sheet preparation for investigations, administering the subpoena management function, assisting in the OIG PARP oversight, maintaining the logs for whistleblower cases and quarterly statistics.

Maintain the OIG hotline database and follow up on the complaints requiring attention.  The OIG annually receives 400 hotline complaints. 

Oversee the database pertaining to the Whistleblower program.  This involves insuring that all letters have been sent out and tracking the progress of the case from inception to the decision by the Panel.

Ensure the case management system, CMTS, is updated and maintained correctly for tracking purposes by the Investigative Manager.

Aid Special Agents in the preparation and maintenance of all spreadsheets and pivot tables for the reports of investigations.

Keep all statistics pertaining to the Quarterly and Semi-Annual reports in a clear concise format for the Inspector General.
