HCSD Capture CoordinatorThe HCSD Capture organization is seeking an outgoing and energetic individual who has a strong interest in advancing into a Capture Manager or Business Development position. This individual will learn Federal Capture Best Practices and work with Senior Capture Managers on the HCSD’s Top new business opportunities and “learn the ropes” from the ground up.
- Under direction of the Capture Manager, maintain capture schedule and track milestones and activities. Will maintain calendar, action items, and capture folders in SharePoint.Work with Capture Managers to prioritize action items and follow up on status with team members.Support Capture Manager in building customer and competition profiles and developing intelligence material for strategy reviews and corporate briefings.Coordinate meetings and other related events.Help maintain positive working relationships with contract and program personnel as well as partners.Oversee use of war rooms, liaison with proposal staff, and provide ad hoc administrative support.
- Strong interest in capture management and business developmentHighly organized, proactive, collaborative, flexible, energetic and detailed oriented2-5 years of related marketing and business development experience.Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)Ability to work with diverse team members in disparate locations and with varying levels of professional experienceAbility to track schedules, milestones, deadlines, and action itemsAbility to provide research support for business intelligence gatheringAbility to support meetings, partner events, and team activitiesWorking proficiency of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); SharePoint experience a plusWorking Knowledge and experience with Shipley Capture/Proposal processesBachelor’s Degree in business, government contracting, or similar fieldKnowledge of Federal contracting acquisition and proposal processes
