Our Mount Joy location, conveniently located close to Lancaster and Harrisburg is actively seeking qualified candidates to join our manufacturing leadership team as a Quality Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to learn the foundry industry and begin a career with a dynamic and growing organization.The Quality Engineer position is a key position at our MJ facility. The right candidate for this position will be motivated to spend time on the plant floor learning the processes and making recommendations for improvements to reduce scrap, increase efficiencies and ensure products are produced within the customer specifications. This position will work closely with customers, and will develop an understanding of quality systems within the facility and work to achieve Donsco's customer, supplier, and ISO certified quality objectives. The Quality Engineer provides direct resolution to quality problems and supplies corrective action to customers. Additionally, this position will direct and oversee the activities involved with the CAR, and PAPR processes. He/she will process customer corrective action requests in a timely fashion and provide root cause analysis in the resolution of quality issues that arise. This position is responsible for overseeing the Quality Inspectors to ensure that in-process audits and inspections are being conducted, all quality logs are maintained, and final product inspection is provided to eliminate any quality escapes. The Quality Engineer will assist in the training, implementation and follow through on all ISO and 5S audit requirements.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Industrial Engineering or other related engineering fields of study. Qualified applicants will be highly motivated, energetic and have a desire to learn all aspects of the foundry industry.
