Westat has an immediate opening for a qualified individual to join a multidisciplinary research team working on a variety of research projects focusing on health care quality, health policy and stakeholder outreach and communication.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supporting research studies using various methods including coordination of tasks and meetings, writing for various purposes (e.g., internal and external communications, summarizing next steps, report writing, infographic development and consumer-focused communication), qualitative data review and web-based communication.
· A bachelor's degree in the social sciences awarded by June 2017
The successful candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated writing skills; exposure to qualitative data collection and analysis; and aptitude for team-based collaboration.
Preferred qualifications: Spanish language proficiency is preferred. Exposure to federal agencies or previous research work experience is preferred.
