Develops and applies quality standards in accordance with company and customer requirements. Develops and conducts related tests.


 1. Develops and applies quality standards in accordance with company and customer requirements.

 2. Designs and implements methods and procedures for testing and inspecting the quality level of products and equipment.

 3. Recommends corrective action for procedural, product, or process deficiencies.

 4. Interfaces with customers, vendors, and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information.

 5. Leads quality audits.

 6. May provide quality related training.

 7. Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced quality assurance personnel, and may have supervisory responsibilities.

 8. Participates in special projects as required.

Education 1. Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

 2. Masters Degree preferred.





Minimum of 10 years experience in test and evaluation of Diving Life Support systems, to include diving rigs, oxygen and hyperbaric chamber systems. 


A thorough understanding of Quality programs dealing with diving and hyperbaric systems, to include Objective Quality Evidence and Reentry Control procedures and how they relate to these systems.


Thorough understanding of both NAVSEA and NAVFAC guidance, procedures and practices as they pertain to diving, oxygen and hyperbaric systems.
