    Install, configure, maintain (upgrade and patch) Oracle database Create, monitor, optimize database performance utilizing advanced performance tuning skills Automate recurring or redundant database tasks Maintain database integrity, availability, and restorability Execute and automate database refreshes Work in an Agile Scrum environment Provide on-call support which can require analysis and trouble shooting of complex issues Lead and contribute to design discussions in a cross-functional project setting Develop database standards, guidelines and best practices Design and architect solutions which often require complex system integration Perform capacity planning and project estimation Evaluate and research new database features, version and technologies
 

Education Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Qualifications 8-10 years of related database analysis and/or administration experience.

Experience must include:

    Oracle 12c experience is required Oracle Database Administration experience with configuration, load balancing, backup/recovery, sizing and space management, PL/SQL tuning, diagnostics, and proficiency in the use of Oracle’s Enterprise Manager Experience with OracleMetlink support and opening Service Requests is desired Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Experience with Weblogic Ability to work in a Unix environment including an ability to write scripts in Unix Outstanding communication and troubleshooting skills
