We are currently seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to join this team. This person:

    Takes direction from Project Leads and Project Managers as requiredDesigns curriculum materials in accordance with established design models and templates for Instructor-led training (ILT); Interactive Multi-media Instruction (IMI); and related materialsConsults with other Instructional Designers, the Curriculum Lead, and/or clients on job performance improvement strategies; learning strategy; blended curriculum design; and business issues related to learning needs and learning solution initiativesConducts analyses of target audience; training requirements; and media requirements in accordance with SOPsDesigns and develops instructional approaches and/or strategies to meet training requirements as appropriateDesigns training materials and evaluations in accordance with SOPsDevelops non-technology-based training materials in accordance with SOPsDevelops appropriate training objectives and test methods and designs instructionally valid training materialsMaintains high levels of self-motivation; demonstrating reliability in a consistent level of job performance; and working within established project budgets and schedulesExhibits versatile interpersonal and communication skills that enable successful internal and external interaction in a variety of modes including face-to-face meetings; phone calls; phone conferences; virtual meetings; and written communicationDevelops appropriate training objectives and test methods and designs instructionally valid training materialsParticipates in special projects as required
Education Master’s Degree in Instructional Systems Design/Education or a related discipline.

Qualifications 8-10 years of related instructional development experience.


This is a remote position - home office with high speed internet access required


    Very proficient and productive in Microsoft Office (including Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Project etc.)In depth knowledge of the principles; methods; and techniques used in the development of training including educational psychology; Adult Learning Theory Human Performance Improvement; in addition to Instructional TechnologyRecent experience designing instruction at the detail level including development of technology-based training; paper-based training materials; and related documentationExcellent communication skills in speaking and writing including practices of first time quality such as self-editing and double-checking of own workWorks with little guidance (independently) and with diverse teamsLearns new tools and processes quickly with little guidance or documentationEdits and performs quality assurance checks on own workAble to multitask and remain flexible when working in a changeable environment in terms of scheduling and taskingOccasional travel to client locations for meetings and events (less than 25%)
