Experienced, detailed oriented, technology focused Solutions Architect responsible for supporting mission-critical business areas such as Procurement, Business Development, Collaboration, Service Management, and Human Resources. This individual will work actively with the GDIT Human Capital business community to solve business problems with systematic and process solutions that fit with company/customer system architecture standards.



• Performs complex systems and applications development and design work that may include logic design, firmware development, model formulation, and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and systems engineering tasks.
• Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis to Identify, analyze, and resolve system problems.
• Plans upgrades of operating systems and designs systems enhancements.
• Develops logical and physical technology documentation on new or existing systems.
• Develops and conducts quality review to ensure systems meet documented user requirements.
• Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance as needed
• Determines applications specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
• Evolves into a subject-matter expert who can easily liaise between IT and other departments.
• Collaborate with other departments and IT to develop business cases associated with new project requests.
• Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced architects, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.


Education • Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Qualifications 10-15 years of related systems engineering experience.


• A thorough background in enterprise HCM implementation Consulting. This includes deep understanding of the applications and the relevant industry practices. Application experience should include Core HR, Compensation and     Benefits, Payroll, Time and Labor, Recruiting, Talent Management, Learning Management, Performance Management, and Succession Planning.
• Significant experience in developing and estimating implementation solutions for a number of clients. Understanding the process to define scope, estimate effort and schedule, price, and develop statements of work is critical.
• Advanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
• Must be able to work independently on complex tasks which require analysis and action.
• Must be able to work well with staff members and user community, especially with senior business management staff. Person must be able to interact with employees at all levels of the company.
• Work hours may include meetings schedule outside of normal working hours. Demands during peak times may require work hours outside of normal working hours. Occasional travel may be required.
