Fabricates, adjusts, and operates standard and special types of machine tools. 

    Sets up and operates machine tools.Ability to check machined parts using basic measuring tools.Applies knowledge of machining, shop mathematics, metal properties and layout and machine procedures.Works from blueprints, engineering sketches, written instructions or manuals.Ability to work well with others and willing to cross train.Basic computer skills needed.CNC experience a plus (G-Code knowledge).Participate in special projects as required.
  Education 1. Requires a High School Diploma or GED.

 2. Technical or vocational training preferred.


3. G-Code preferred.



Qualifications 1-3 years of related machining experience.


Ability to obtain a security clearance.
