Responsibilities

The Department of Theology and Religious Studies invites applications for a Lectureship in Theology & Religious Studies for the 2017-2018 academic year, beginning August 21, 2017. This is a half-time position. The successful candidate will teach two theology/religious studies courses per semester and coordinate two events in the school year that celebrate ecumenism and
interfaith dialogue.

We seek applicants with experience teaching at the university level and a desire to work with a diverse student body.

Minimum Qualifications

PhD in Religious Studies (ABD considered).

Preferred Qualifications

Strong candidates should also have at least two years of experience teaching in a university environment that engages students in writing and undergraduate research.
