Capital Markets to lead our Treasuryteam The team is responsible for all technology aspects of our criticalTreasury operations including Derivatives Trading Corporate Debt Issuance and Cash Management Together the team supports over one trillion dollars intransactions each month to ensure Fannie Mae can provide crucial liquidity tothe mortgage market JOB INFORMATION Plans directs and manages theTreasury team within the technology organization to ensure its effectiveoperation in line with goals and objectives Provides leadership acrosscross functional teams Responsible for partneringwith business customers to develop anddeliver long range strategy that addressesbusiness customera s needs and manages risk while delivering technicalsolutions Develops and implements thepolicies procedures and systems required for maintaining and developing theoverall technology strategy and goals with a focus on driving change within the organization toimprove productivity and delivery Plan document and manage the performance of subordinate managers and orstaff KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Establishand maintain working relationship with senior level business partners Reports to executive management on major accomplishments issues and concerns Distilland communicate complex information to a diverse audience of stakeholders a up down and across the organization while building consensus Deliveron the roadmap through partnership and prioritization with teamwork from acrossthe technology organization Build lead manage and overseecross functional project initiatives and daily operations related to delivering technicalsolutions to solve business problems assessing business and technology processes and functional needs for theenterprise designing and implementing the optimal mix of system components tosupport the functional needs managing the system development enhancementlifecycle from business and systems requirements analysis through development testing quality assurance post deployment support managing a portfolio ofinternal controls around business processes systems and data Manage the current applications including monitoring ofrisk and identification and prioritization of necessary improvements Responsible for the development ofbest practices and guidelines for existing or new technologies withinresponsible area s Identifytechnology trends that may support or impede the success of the business Driveinnovation establish new approaches to productivity understand industry bestpractices in Capital Markets Researches and selects vendorsregarding the development of both technical and resource solutions as needed in conjunction with executive management Plan document and manage theperformance of subordinate managers and or staff Conduct talent managementactivities including mentoring training or providing technical growthopportunities focusing on constant improvement and acquiring new technology skill Operatea metrics based organization with constant focus on improvement EDUCATION Bachelor s Degree or equivalent required BS or MS in Computer Science or related field preferred MINIMUM EXPERIENCE years of related experience Minimum years as a senior manager or director with demonstrated experience leadinggeographically distributed technical teams preferred SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS Abilityto thrive in a fast paced environment and operate independently with a highlevel of ambiguity and change Abilityto be both strategic roadmaps architecture planning etc and tactical specs code review root cause analysis etc Demonstratedexperience with relationship building with senior management across variousfunctions Experienceimplementing various Agile practices and methodologies eg Scrum Kanban Lean TDD ATDD BDD w Cucumber etc Experiencebuilding and supporting mission critical applications leveraging industry bestpractices and trends including Design Thinking product development Microservices Containers as well as driving change to move to the API economy Passionfor a broad mix of technologies at all layers of the stack including a strongsubset of AngularJS Backbone ReactJS REST JSON Spring Boot Node js Java Kafka SOA Spark NoSQL Oracle UNIX and Software Defined Networking Experienceleading teams through Cloud and DevOps adoptions including strong familiaritywith AWS Azure Docker Jenkins Puppet Chef Ansible Git SVN Experiencein Capital Markets environments knowledge of Treasury and Cash systems a plusincluding related emerging technologies such as Blockchain Excellentwritten and oral
