The MIL Corporation seeks an experienced Applications Analyst who has expertise in application analysis & implementation in a Federal Government environment, to support a Federal Government client at our Patuxent River, MD 20670 location.

• Day to day technical administration support and integration for applications including RSA Archer and BMC Footprints
• Lead the administration/configuration of items such as user accounts, data feeds, questionnaires, workflow and reports
• Configure, install and maintain assigned applications
• Perform any necessary patching and or upgrades on servers, application components, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Develop and assist in the documentation of IT functions and procedures as needed
• Perform periodic review and maintenance of disaster recovery plans for assigned applications
• Define application objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality
• Design and develop user interfaces to applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle
• Integrate applications using accepted application tools for integration
• Use problem solving techniques to determine cause of reported problems and ensure continued use of the application
• Create and manage dashboards utilizing client tools to provide clear and up-to-date reporting

Required Qualifications
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent degree/experience
• 5 years of application analysis, administration and implementation experience
• Experience with data integration; APIs, applications, flat files, XML/XSLT, etc.
• Security+ certification
• Very good technical and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving, research and follow-up skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with standard query language (SQL) and with database and database applications
• Experience with RestAPI
• Experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to include User Acceptance (UAT) and Regression Testing
• Knowledge of Federal Government/Navy IT Laws, Regulations and Policies to the fleet
• Familiarity with applying DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
• Ability to operate across multiple projects concurrently and assume the responsibility for the appropriate technical and architectural implementation of projects
• Familiarity with BMC Footprints and/or RSA Archer
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs, remove and setup computer equipment and peripherals; ability to perform network cabling

Desired Qualifications
• 5 years of application analysis, administration and implementation experience
• CISSP certification

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent degree/experience
