These positions are Entry Level Computer Scientist for various NAVAIR locations.

The Computer Scientist Basic Requirement for this position is: a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a Bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. (At least 15 of the 30 semester hours include a combination of statistics and mathematics including differential and integral calculus from an accredited or pre-accredited institution.)

For GS-07 your resume must demonstrate at least one or more years of progressively related experience that has equipped me with necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience include applying basic theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies to achieve objectives; carry out, interpret, and explain basic computations and calculations; and read, understand, analyze, interpret and convey findings OR
have Superior Academic Achievement at the baccalaureate level in Operations Research or related degree. In order to be qualified for Superior Academic Achievement, you must meet one of the following provisions: 1. Maintained a grade-point average of "B" (a GPA of 3.0 or higher) for all completed undergraduate courses, or those completed in the last two years of undergraduate study. - OR - 2. Maintained a grade-point average "B+" (a GPA of 3.5 or higher) for all courses in your major field of study, or those courses in your major completed in the last two years of undergraduate study. - OR - 3. Rank in the upper one-third of your class in the college, university, or major subdivision. - OR - 4.
