ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
Scheibel Construction is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to assist the Senior Superintendent for a new elementary school project in Northern Virginia. Assistant Project Manager will be onsite. Responsibilities include assisting Senior Superintendent and Project Manager in the day to day operations of two projects including: submittal review and distribution, RFI tracking and distribution, plan distribution, close-out distribution, change order preparation and tracking, LEED documentation, punch list and warranty follow-up. Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project. Strong organizational skills are required. A Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or similar field is preferred. Past experience working in a similar role for a General Contractor/Construction manager is preferred.
