Collaborative, creative, analytic teacher sought to work with our preschool team. The Clarendon Child Care Center is a nonprofit, parent cooperative serving children ages 2 ½ through 6 years old in a fulltime, year-round program. Our constructivist curriculum emphasizes creativity, problem solving skills and social-emotional development through exploration, play and inquiry based projects. Outdoor learning is an integral part of our program. Keen observational skills, knowledge of child development, teaching experience with young children a must; some knowledge of Reggio Emilia, Bank Street Project Approach and Conscious Discipline helpful. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a directly related field required. Salary based on education and experience; competitive benefits. Summer or fall start date possible.
