Regional Office Manager
Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group is partnering with a DC Metro area law firm to hire a Regional Office Manager to support the organizations continuing growth. Reporting directly to the President the Regional Office Manager will handle all business operation needs for 2-3 office locations. Responsibilities will include all office administration, human resources, facilities management and non-lawyer staff supervision. Responsibilities: Human Resources/Staff Management Recruit and hire all non-legal staffing, including paralegals Conduct new hire orientation including all pre-employment checks and coordinate back office set-up Provide continued training, coaching, mentoring and counseling to direct reports Ensure employee payroll is entered Provide clear direction on firm’s policies and procedures and updates as necessary Facilities and Office Management Act as the liaison with building management Ensure all Firm employees have the resources and tools needed to efficiently do their jobs Financial Reporting Prepares A/P data for bi-monthly reports Compiles financial information to pull various reports for the firm Coordinate with billing personnel and outside consultants Become the go-to person in the office for all non-legal requests Additional responsibilities as needed Qualifications/Background profile: 10 years of office management or office administration experience At least 5 years of experience in a law firm Previous experience hiring, training and managing a staff Experience pulling and disseminating financial reports Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel is preferred Ability to work with staff at all levels of an organization Outstanding organizational and communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks Willingness to travel around the DC Metro area (expenses will be reimbursed) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Qualified candidates should send their resume and then call Sparks Group for additional details.
