The George Mason University Disability Services Office invites applications for the position of Test Administrator, reporting to the Director of Disability Services. Responsibilities: * Responsible for providing a secure exam delivery and superior customer services in a comfortable friendly environment; * Collaborates with faculty, staff, and students on testing policies and procedures; * Oversees the day-to-day operations for the testing center; * Responsible for verifying student identification, proctoring examinees while testing, maintaining a secure testing environment, and maintaining a student database; * Works closely with faculty and students to schedule exams, and verifies accommodations; * Coordinates assistive technology needed for students with sensory impairments and other disabilities; * Acts as a scribe or reader when necessary; * Maintains data related to the number of exams given per semester; * Updates all testing equipment and software as needed; * Responds to student and faculty concerns in regards to testing issues; * Consults with supervisor and the Office of Academic Integrity when conflicts arise; * Distributes Faculty Contact Sheets to students registered with the Disability Services office; * Provides training presentations to Mason stakeholders; and * Completes other duties as assigned.

This position requires strict adherence to university policies and that the incumbent understands and complies with all testing procedures.

Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in rehabilitation counseling, special education, educational psychology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications: * Demonstrated customer service experience; * Experience working with students who have disabilities and working knowledge of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the ADAA of 2008, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and other appropriate laws; * Have intermediate experience in Microsoft Office; * Ability to have flexible work hours and work in a fast-paced environment; * Work in a quiet testing environment and in a stressful environment; * Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; and * Must possess the ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, and maintain confidentiality.
