The Ford Agency has a Membership and Sales role with an international association that promotes healthy and sustainable manufacturing practices. The Membership and Sales Representative will play an integral role in promoting the organization's certification programs, recruiting new and retaining current members, and will represent the organization at trade shows and other events. If you have a talent for forging connections and sustaining relationship, this could be a great role for you! 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining relationships with current members, serving as their main point of contact regarding benefits, products, and services
  • Developing and implement membership retention and recruitment programs
  • Developing a pipeline of prospective members, doing sales visits and giving product presentations
  • Working closely with the marketing, and training team to coordinate in move sales initiatives forward
  • Staying current with industry trends and ensuring that the associations programs are competitive
  • Represent the organization at trade shows and similar events

Qualifications Include:

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous experience with sales and business development, ideally in a non-profit or a trade association
  • Ability to cold-call
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and superior communication skills
  • A  valid driver's license
