The Office of Intelligence and Special Program Assessments conducts evaluations of programs, policies, procedures, and functions of the Intelligence Enterprise, Special Access Programs, Nuclear Enterprise, and related security issues within DoD.  

The Department of Defense Office of the Inspector General Deputy inspector General for Intelligence and Special Program Assessments (ISPA) has established the Contingency Operation (CO) Directorate (division) under the ISPA Office. The CO's mission will be to conduct assessments in support of the Lead Inspector General for contingency operations, such as Operations Inherent Resolve (OIR) and Freedom's Sentinel (OFS).


TRAVEL REQUIRED:

  • Employees may be required to travel to contigency operation locations, such as Southwest Asia

  • Knowledge Requirements/Skill for Supervisory Program Analyst 0343 series position:

    -One year of recent experience equivalent to the GS-13 equivalent level involving supervising teams, and performing assessments, evaluations or similar reviews of programs, functions and operations.

    -Supervises several teams of professional and administrative civilian and military personnel, performing unique, highly complex and sensitive reviews of various programs.

    -Expert experience in managing multiple projects and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within assigned resources and meet established objectives. Experience in performing research to develop substantive fact sheets for inclusion in long-range and annual component planning.

    -Expert experience in performing research to develop substantive fact sheets for inclusion in long-range and annual component planning. Ensures that the most relevant and impactful projects are prioritized for the DIG and IG.

    -Ensures that project execution considers all aspects of the program or issue under review, including the legal basis, administrative procedures, OSD and Service policies, management guidance and control, and organization and operation effectiveness.

    - Expert experience in project planning accomplishments with objectives, including procedures, site itineraries, travel, budgets and other instructions and guidance for each project.
