George Mason University and Georgetown University--which maintain a partnership in graduate biomedical education--invite highly qualified applicants to serve as a Term Instructor in the graduate certificate program on the Science and Technology campus of George Mason University. This full-time position begins in mid-August 2017, ends in early June 2018, and is an opportunity for an energetic and talented scholar interested in further developing their teaching skills by working with students enrolled in a biomedical graduate certificate program.

Responsibilities: * Conducting recitations, reviews and facilitated learning sessions; * Providing instructional support for course directors; * Assisting the Biomedical Program Director in administration of the program, including data management; * Participating in the planning and execution of student activities outside of the classroom; and * Student advising and teaching.

Required Qualifications: * M.S. degree in physiology or a related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications: * Some experience teaching science courses at the secondary or higher education level, especially medical-related courses, is preferred; and * Experience with premedical advising and/or graduate programs is desired.
