Fort Belvoir is located in approximately 19-miles from downtown Washington D.C. and is located in historic Fairfax County, Virginia. The installation is comprised on 8,656 acre tract along the Potomac River.
Location: Fort Belvoir, Golf Course.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Prepare, maintain and serve various food items in accordance with Health Department regulations.
Ability to understand and communicate written instructions.

Must have skill and knowledge to perform tasks involving several procedures and be able to concentrate on work assignments despite interruptions and distractions. A working knowledge of sanitation standards is required as well as knowledge of procedures to prevent contamination. Must know basic food handling techniques, personal hygiene standards and safe work procedures. Must have the ability to read and understand written material. Must have knowledge of basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals, such as counting the number of tables in order to determine the number of portions or meals required, or, how many servings a particular container will yield. Ability to understand and follow simple instructions, and be able to use hand tools for cleaning and operating simple machines. Performs other duties as assigned.
Conditions of Employment:
1. A one-year probationary period may be required.
2. Meet all qualification/eligibility requirements.
3. A completed and signed copy DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
4. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-VERIFY) check.
5. Appointment is subject to completion of a favorable background checks/investigation to determine suitability for this position.
