This extensive.NET training program will provide you with the skills and experience necessary to be a successful software developer. Once completed, you will have the skills required to be a proficient software developer at GEICO. The program will combine classroom and real-work experience so new skills can be applied immediately. Participants will be assigned mentors and receive supplemental training depending on their project assignments. During the program you will work alongside Senior Software Engineers who serve as mentors, guiding you through full stack development [.NET, responsive web design, databases, cloud and API]. Upon successful completion of program, associates will have programming knowledge and proficiency in .NET, multi-device websites, databases, cloud and API development, as well as a host of new technologies that our engineers are using every single day.  You will also have mentorship and training through Meet Ups, and Tech Talks to help build skills on topics such Open Source Big Data tools, Security, Voice Driven Applications, Agile Development and more.   Program participants will work in all areas of GEICO's IT department including Information Services, Systems Operations and Internet Business divisions.

• Introduction to Object Oriented Concepts
• Web Design
• Beginning Development in Microsoft's .NET Platform
