GEICO's Enterprise Data Warehouse is transitioning and merging with the Corporate Big Data platform. This opportunity will help drive that shift while ensuring full support of the Application Modernization needs during the transition. This position requires a strong communicator who can blend the technical with the business details needed to engage with partners and drive results. The ability to manage change and motivate a seasoned team through the change process is essential.   Candidate Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science
  • Minimum five years of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated skills in both the technical and business aspects of IT
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience relevant to EDW or Big Data infrastructure
  • Confident with strong decision making skills, mentoring capabilities and high expectations backed by the level of support to drive those expectations
  • Effective at multitasking and managing a team with diverse technical skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships within the company and with third parties
  • Providing leadership, project management and direction on identified strategic projects
  • Meet Plan Item deliverables and achieve results through collaboration with the business partners
  • Identify and collaborate with the entire DSAT Management team on strategies and objectives to migrate EDW functions to the cloud
