General Dynamics Information Technology is currently seeking a skilled Sr. Business Administrator with Legal experience. The candidate is expected to provide expert executive administrative support and expert paralegal, analysis and research support to the customer.

 

The candidate will perform but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:

-Managing calendars, phone/email, travel, and contacts (both internal and external) using technologies such as Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, or any other system determined by the customer.

-Review all incoming correspondence and monitor email communications for items requiring immediate attention or action.

-Schedule meetings, coordinate video teleconferences and conference calls.

-Coordinate logistical details and events. For meetings, this includes scheduling rooms, sending out meeting announcements, and taking minutes as appropriate.

-Assist in preparing local, domestic and international travel arrangements, including authorizations, vouchers, and reimbursements.

-Maintain an efficient office environment, to include ordering supplies and arranging for repair of office equipment as necessary.

-If asked, represent customer in meetings and other executive administrative functions, as tasked.

-Provide litigation support to the legal office, to include tracking all cases to which the customer has an interest.

-Provide legislative support, to include tracking legislative actions, supporting the legislative referral process and synthesizing feedback for the customer's review.

-Provide support to the development and coordination of customer's ethics requirements such as legal research, initial drafting of ethics opinions, assisting the coordination with customer's ethics counselors, and maintaining a repository of ethics opinions.

-If asked, provide support as needed to the customer's front office.

-Supporting the development, coordination and tracking of reports, correspondence and other activities as required.

-Assist in preparing summaries of congressional legislation to identify items of interest and impacts to the customer, if any.

-Support the legal office in identifying, researching, analyzing and tracking all legislative and litigation items of interest.

-Monitor and assign actions from the customer's action tracker process that require legal review; interface with the customer's task tracking system, as needed.

-Legal research skills including familiarity with statutory framework and commercial congressional resources.

-Knowledge of the elements and missions of the Intelligence Community.

-Highly effective communicator both in writing and orally. -Provide support to the customer and legal conference support team, as needed.

Education Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.

 

Customer Requirement: Associate or Bachelor's level degree, or a recognized Professional Certification in a directly related field of study.

Qualifications  

5-8 years of related administrative and analytical experience.

 

-Ability to obtain extensive knowledge of protocol and precedence, and IC structure, regulations, and policies.

-Extensive knowledge of current practices associated with filing and tracking systems, allowing efficient and rapid storage and retrieval of information.

-Ability to obtain extensive knowledge of travel and customer unique activities to perform as POC for individuals on TDY.

-Ability to obtain extensive knowledge of operational procedures and cover protocols to meet operations flights.

-Extensive knowledge in the use of MS Office, the Internet, and other internal applications necessary to complete routine and moderately complex tasks.

-Analytical skills sufficient to assess and interpret highly complex information from multiple sources and draw insightful conclusions.

-Excellent oral and written communications skills sufficient to compose and deliver responses to customers' complex questions in a clear and concise manner.

-Excellent skills in planning and organizing to systematically coordinate, track and complete work flow in accordance with the unique guidelines and procedures to multiple agencies/organizational entities.

-Strong representational skills to attend meetings, events, and forums on behalf of upper management.
