The Defense Intelligence Agency’s (DIA) Enterprise Platform Services (EPS) contract provides Users with a secure, standards-based, data hosting, sharing and management platform for mission and business applications. In concert with Prime contractor Booz Allen Hamilton, GDIT is looking for a skilled Functional Analyst to analyze and document data requirements from stakeholders and government leads, maintain data and service architectures and catalogs with focus on user needs, collaborate on the production and maintenance of technical documentation including data dictionaries, data flow documentation, user guides, and Application Programming Interface (API) documentation, and assist with the creation and maintenance of policies (e.g. MOUs/MOAs) related to data sharing.

 Duties consist of: 1. Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects.

 2. Performs technical assessments aimed at improving client systems.

 3. Generates recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel.

 4. Consults with clients to determine optimum design for assigned projects.

 5. Identifies emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systems.

 6. Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials.

 7. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts, and may have supervisory responsibilities.

 8. May serve as technical team or task lead.

 9. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.

 10. Participates in special projects as required.

Education Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.

Qualifications The contract requires 8 years of related experience.
