Job Description:
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a full-time Cardiac Research and Education Manager.

The manager for the Sentara Cardiac Learning Center and Sentara Cardiovascular Research Institute is responsible and accountable for the daily operations of the Learning Center and Research Institute. Supervises the staff, including research coordinators and support staff; coordinates quality and customer service activities; assists in the development and monitoring of the budget; coordinates the purchasing and payroll processes; serves as a technical/clinical resource to team members; and performs work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff. Assists the scientific directors of the Institute in recruiting research studies for the Institute. Coordinates operations with the selected Institutional Review Board(s), assuring protection of human subjects. Assures compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of good clinical practice (GCP) related to the conduct of clinical research.

Bachelor's Level Degree - NURSING

Experience
Required: Clinical Research - 3 years
