IT Strategist

Key Role:

Provide IT strategic guidance and support for a major DoD client, demonstrate knowledge of IT future transformation goals, and advise on enterprise services. Develop appropriate methodologies, frameworks, and approaches to address client objectives, drive the organization toward business results, and reinforce the organization's strategic information sharing objectives to achieve improvements in effectiveness, gain efficiencies, and increase security. Assist with the identification, implementation, and tracking of progress for an organizational IT Strategy with supporting goals and objectives and provide recommendations for migrating systems and applications for DoD-level enterprise capabilities and services.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with creating, supporting, or executing strategies, governance, and IT transformation initiatives related to CIO duties

-8+ years of experience with providing IT consulting and supporting project management for IT road t-mapping, enterprise services, or knowledge management activities

-Ability to show flexibility, initiative, and innovation in dealing with ambiguous, fast-paced situations
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with enterprise architectures

-Experience with requirements gathering, process documentation, and analysis

-Experience with federal, DoD, or Military CIO policies

-Possession of excellent quantitative and qualitative analyses, presentation, and briefing skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Top Secret clearance
