Deployment SME

Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for the development, implementation, and maintenance of deployment management plans and checklists for IPPS-A that prepare commands for the deployment of IPPS-A. Assist with the development of New Material Introductory Briefings (NMIBs) for gaining commands. Assist with the planning, preparation, coordination, and implementation of sustainment support activities.


Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with fielding DoD information systems, operations, operations plan development and implementation, and the military decision making process
-Knowledge of the Army organizational structure and command relationships and briefing senior Army leaders
-Ability to work with senior military stakeholders and present command-level briefings intended to coordinate the fielding to all Active Army and US Army Reserve Combatant Commands, Army Commands, Corps, and Divisions, and all Army National Guard locations across the 54 states and territories
-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and leverage problem solving expertise
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in CS, Information Systems, or Business Administration and 10+ years of experience with the systems development life cycle


Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Army Regulation (AR) 350-1 for Army Training and Leader Development and Army Doctrine Reference Publication (ADRP) 7-0 for Training Units and Developing Leaders
-Ability to travel intermittently to support collaboration with the US Army National Guard, Active Army and US Army Reserve stakeholders, including up to 25%
-Ability to think critically and act as an active listener
-Ability to self—motivate and work to add value to the organization
-Possession of excellent organization and time management skills
-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
