Project Manager, Senior

Key Role:
Lead a team in project and systems management for the development, maintenance, sustainment, and operations of IT software systems. Manage software and feature releases and upgrades, perform risk management, and coordinate with support functions and other contractors. Develop, coordinate, and maintain actions, timelines, issues, resources, project schedules, and requirements. Work directly with contract developers and other support contractors and personnel to manage systems requirements, releases, and features. Inform the government of the progress, risks, and issues that may impact a schedule or requirement.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with working as an IT systems project manager
-5 years of experience with creating and tracking schedules using scheduling tools, including Microsoft Project or Oracle Primavera and comprehending and speaking to the associated cost performance index (CPI) and schedule performance index (SPI)
-2+ years of experience with supporting a federal client
-2+ years of experience in working with Agile-based projects
-Knowledge of the full software development life cycle
-Ability to work closely with federal stakeholders and communicate effectively both orally and in writing
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree required
-Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with IBM FileNet document management systems
-Experience with optical character recognition (OCR)
-Experience with Thunderhead customer correspondence systems
