Space Launch Mission Integrator, Senior

Key Role:

Provide systems engineering and integration (SE&I) support to a key National Security Space (NSS) client for space launch processing and operations. Support all aspects of the launch process from initial manifest through onsite processing and launch, including assessments and recommendations for readiness of launch base processing and range support to transportation, fueling, and mate. Identify, maintain, and ensure mission requirements are met. Provide the development of mission unique requirements and derived requirements identification, monitoring, and verifying of all launch vehicle and satellite vehicle interfaces. Coordinate and track status of the payload, launch vehicle, and range. Provide scheduling support to the spacecraft office for the preparation of the launch manifest and mission model. Support mission specific rehearsal plans and standardize operation location readiness where possible.

Basic Qualifications: 

-5+ years of experience with space launch vehicle systems 

-5+ years of experience with aerospace hardware or software systems engineering life cycle, including design, development, verification and validation, integration, test, and implementation management  

-5+ years of experience with technical project management 

-5+ years of experience with engineering processes 

-Knowledge of mission assurance processes and procedures of NSS clients 

-TS/SCI clearance required 

-BA or BS degree required 

Additional Qualifications: 

-Experience with briefing and writing authoritative technical documents, including reports and position papers 

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 

-Knowledge of the NSS client's organizational structure 

-Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities, procedures, and information technology tools 

-Ability to interact well with cross-functional teams and working environments 

-Ability to interface with internal and external clients 

-Ability to perform analysis and assessment 

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills 

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph preferred 

-BA or BS degree in Engineering or a technical, scientific, or related field
