Salary:           Commensurate with experience

Hours:           8:30-5:30, M-F

Busy legal technology consulting firm located in downtown DC, Metro Center area, seeks an Administrative Assistant to support the President and perform general administrative office duties. This entry level position is ideal for a recent college graduate with a strong interest in event planning/management or a graduate student able to work full time.

Responsibilities

Manage calendar and plan meetings

Make travel arrangements and prepare travel expense reports

Draft correspondence and manage e-mail

Answer phones, sort/handle incoming and outgoing mail

Assist with internal and external marketing events and annual holiday gift campaign

Make restaurant reservations, order and bring in-office meals

Carry out internet research as needed

Perform other general office duties and special projects

 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required

1-2 years of experience in a similar role

Strong knowledge of MS office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Good internet research skills

Some experience making travel arrangements online

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and switch gears quickly

Dynamic and dependable self-starter, independent thinker, very proactive, detail-oriented, energetic, extremely organized and flexible, able to work with little or no direction
