Rowe Price.PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONThe Investment Reporting Supervisor manages larger-scale initiatives, including management of information product lines and leads cross-functional taskforces. The Supervisor works in a consultative relationship with peers and managers, within and outside of MIS, to establish resource needs, process improvements, and issue identification and solution implementation. Provides supervision, instruction, and guidance to Investment andSr. Investment Reporting Specialists (directly) and content and data providers (indirectly) to ensure the timely, accurate, and highest degree of quality in client reports as aligned with departmental goals. The incumbent may interact with the Investment Staff on projects.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIESWorkflow Management: Develops implements and maintains optimal workflow to improve the efficient execution of client reporting packages. Proactively negotiate deliverables with supply chain managers and increase value to existing reports through collaboration with the Product Strategy and Development team. The incumbent is involved in the quality review process to ensure adherence to report policies, procedures, contracts, and to ensure regulatory compliance. When issues arise, the incumbent uses his/her understanding of the requirements to independently investigate and resolve data and production issues by assessing the impact, determining the appropriate resolution, and promptly communicating the resolution to all affected parties including external clients and Business Units. Demonstrates understanding of the client and business unit needs by developing functional and technical requirements as appropriate. Acts as the authority in specialty roles to represent the department to other areas in the firm (ie Legal, NATO, ECM, and Investment Operations).People Management: The incumbent provides direction on the day-to-day work of Specialists and Sr. Specialists, which includes training and coaching, managing workload, setting priorities as business unit needs and data availability shifts and provides learning and growth opportunities. Monitors roles and project assignments within group to determine where restructuring is appropriate to support business and associate development. Delivers performance evaluations and assists in compensation.Process Management: The incumbent constantly reviews processes and works to close existing gaps within the current processes to improve accuracy, relevancy, and efficiency of the client reporting and service processes to minimize risk. Analyze requests and inventory to determine the downstream business and technology impact; establish new workflow and ownership, document processes and implement workflow. Elevates new and modified service requests to Manager for cost assessment and business planning.Relationship Management: The supervisor responds to internal and external client queries and negotiates changes to existing reporting standards. The incumbent may be called upon to meet with Sr. Sales and Client Service Personnel when the manager is unavailable. Acts as a resource by applying a full understanding of industry, product line, client strategy, branding and compliance knowledge while being an advocate for the client and the firm. The incumbent is expected to increase their business knowledge by identifying and attending internal or external training and industry conferences.Project Management: The incumbent regularly leads cross-functional projects by defining objectives, aligning resources, and developing communication plans. Additionally, s/he routinely participates as a subject matter expert in special taskforces and cross-functional projects designed to improve the overall reporting process. The incumbent proposes and implements practical and efficient solutions, manages the expectations of key stakeholders involved through effective communications, implements solutions, and monitors for success. The incumbent collaborates with IT to ensure improvements to systems are progressing.QUALIFICATIONSRequired* College degree and 1 year of related work experience, or* Associate degree and 3 years related work experience, or* High School diploma/equivalent and 5 years related work experience* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred* Demonstrated leadership and development ability through previous supervisory experience or project management* Demonstrated project management skills, including managing cross-functional and/or cross-departmental projects, activities and stakeholder relationships.* Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements* In-depth TRP operational experience/background of performance, attribution, strategies, business unit requirements and internal technology platforms* In-depth knowledge of TRP's business and how we manage money* Results-oriented, able to lead departmental initiatives* Strong analytical skills with the ability to make decisions within tight timeframes* Effective written and oral communication and negotiation skillsPreferred* 6+ years of related industry experience* Strong organization, leadership, team building and motivation skills* Strong research and problem-solving orientation with the ability to implement corrective action and new processes* Strong commitment to high-quality and customer service* Ability to think strategically and globally* Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including negotiating with upper management.T.
