Child And Adolescent Psychiatrist

If so this is the job for you As a Psychiatrist you must display excellent interpersonal skills in your interactions with patients and their families as well as with a variety of medical and case management staff members. You must have strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to function well under pressure. It is also important to your role as a Psychiatrist that you are self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and solidly dedicated to the work that you do. Your specific duties as a Psychiatrist will include: Provides psychiatric services to individuals experiencing mental health, substance abuse and co-occuring disorders. Has the ability to service Children, Adolescents and Adult clients. Conducts Psychiatric Evaluations to determine medication needs Prescribing medication Meeting with patients on a monthly or bimontly basis in order to monitor to make any necessary changes to their medication regimen. Complete all required paperwork as required by state and federal regulations. Provides clinical consultation to medical staff and other treatment team members Ability to travel to other assigned locations. Will perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must be board eligible or board approved in the field of Psychiatry Must possess Current Medical License Must possess current DEA Certification Maintain current CPR certification Experience providing outpatient services to children, adolescents and adults with mental illness Experience: Minimum 3 years in outpatient setting Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic Computer literacy,-Miscrosoft Electronic Medical Records Company Description: Therapeutic Living for Families is a Specialty Behavioral Health Center.
