Evolver is seeking a Program Manager for the DC Metro area with 25% travel Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Recruit, coach, and mentor team members including contractors, suppliers, and/or employeesPlan, assign, and manage team members and multiple work streamsWork cross-functionally to plan site IT deployment projects and activitiesLead, manage, and motivate a diverse and cross-functional team of IT professionals including technical support staff, network technicians, deployment coordinators, computer (desktop and notebook) technicians, and other staff IT rolesEnsure site IT project plans are prepared and business requirements are accurate and well documentedCommunicate (verbally and written) weekly project status reportsCommunicate and manage project issues and concerns while recommending and implementing corrective actionsEnsure IT equipment is procured following Evolver and client policies and proceduresImplement and enforce inventory controlsDirect the maintenance of accurate IT Configuration Management Database recordsDirect the staging and configuration of switches, routers, printers, Access Points, desktops, and other infrastructure componentsOrganize, schedule, and coordinate site IT infrastructure deployment activities associated with IT projects, site expansions, and new startups or site decommissioningCreate, document, and maintain standard operating processes and proceduresPropose and implement tactical changes or strategic solutions for optimal business results with a focus on continuous process improvement and client satisfactionAnalyze business processes, assess and define client-specific requirements, and propose business solutionsDefine and present service level metrics and other core KPIs to stakeholdersManage external suppliers and the supplier relationshipsRespond to client inquires in a timely manner and provide updatesOther duties, tasks, or assignments as required The Program Manager leads the delivery of IT infrastructure projects at client locations nationwide. You will supervise and manage a team of customer contact personnel providing Tiers 1, 2, and 3 technical support, network technicians, deployment coordinators, computer (desktop and notebook) technicians, and other staff to manage a portfolio of site projects that will require the procurement, receiving, staging, configuration, and deployment of IT infrastructure as required by the client and the specific projects. This includes managing service requests and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The Program Manager also provides senior-level technical assistance to the team as required. The Program Manager ensures that the site infrastructure projects are delivered on time, with a high degree of quality, and fully meet the requirements for the client. Site infrastructure projects include new site startups, moves, adds, and changes (MAC work), site decommissioning, technology refreshes, and site expansions or site take overs. Travel will be required to inspect and validate project deliverables or to research process improvements within the sites. The Program Manager will also oversee the recruiting, management, and development of assigned team members. You will use your expert understanding of IT infrastructure and the deployment process to work cross-functionally with client stakeholders to plan, design, and deliver site IT infrastructure projects. Upon completion of the site migration and/or site installation phase of the project, the Program Manager will lead all post-deployment IT technical support, network, and infrastructure sustainment and management activities. The Program Manager will also provide extensive client relationship management and communications including project reviews, equipment staging, configuration, and installation progress reports, and help lead identification and resolution of field IT installation and maintenance issues.
