Recruiting / Human Resources Assistant
A non-profit based in Washington, DC has an immediate need for a Recruiting/HR Assistant. This position supports the Recruiting Manager, HR Generalist, and HR Director with a variety of administrative and complex job functions. Primary responsibilities include; conducting detailed reference checks, assembling new hire and orientation materials, greeting applicants and new hires, assisting with orientations, creating job descriptions and reoccurring special projects. The successful candidate will have experience supporting managers in a recruiting and/or human resources environment. The ideal candidate will have two to three years and be able to hit the ground running. Excellent software and client service skills are needed and this role will quickly progress and additional higher level tasks will be given over time.
