We are seeking an innovative Engineer to join a small team of passionate engineers who continuously focus on improving the way they work and pushing the boundaries of their technology platform. This position is located at our client's office in Reston, VA. The Engineer will be responsible to the design and development of the client's CRM system and other related applications software for the company's CRM system and other related applications software. The candidate with work closely with project management, test engineers, and business analysts to realize project requirements and deliver business solutions. If you are the right candidate you will have: . A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field . Approximately 8 years of related work experience in software development or a related field . A comprehensive knowledge of web front-end and back-end development tools . The ability to integrate large scale systems or third-party products . A track record of delivering high-quality, web-based solutions efficiently . A deep understanding of the programming language and design patterns . A strong knowledge of one or more of the following: HTML, JavaScript, Dozer, DOM, AJAX, CSS/CSS2, XML, XHTML, DHTML, or JSON . Some experience developing SOA/Web Services based applications . Effective communication skills with strong customer service orientation . The ability to clearly discern client needs It would be a plus if you have: . Comprehensive understanding of an Apache, Weblogic and Oracle tiered system environment . Basic knowledge of Java/J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, or SQL/PL-SQL . Test-driven development and continuous integration experience . Experience working in an interactive devops environment . Familiarity with RUP and Agile/Scrum environments Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate based on experience.
