Essential Job Functions Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures Performs benefits administration. Knowledgeable of performing payroll functions using ADP Experience with recruiting and hiring processes, able to write and place job ads Conducts new-employee orientation. Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database: (ADP) Comfortable Fielding Calls and Meeting People Fully functional with Word Processing (MS Word) - Advanced Ease of creating Spreadsheets (MS Excel) - Intermediate Visual eye for creating presentations (MS PPT) - Intermediate Enjoys Internet Research Fearless of learning new software Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones. Physical Demands Regularly required to talk or hear. Close vision and ability to adjust focus. Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Little to no travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience A bachelor's degree and three (2-3+) years of experience Two years of experience in the HR field, or Five years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience. Preferred Education and Experience Bachelors' degree in human resources or related field. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
