NCI: As a Business Analyst/Tester ( Software Test Engineer III ) working at a small Federal agency, you will define and document requirements, perform system testing, facilitate user acceptance testing and support the operations of various web-based systems. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments. Highlights of Responsibilities: Capture requirements in JIRA as user stories or maintenance tickets. Produce and deliver test results; track system test and acceptance test defects to resolution. Participate in sprint planning and requirements gathering sessions. Work with developers to identify test cases, scenarios, and other test requirements. Support internal users as they perform user acceptance testing. Recreate reported software defects and test their resolutions. Work with the development team to improve team processes and procedures. Produce and maintain system documentation. Requirements: MUST be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance. 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Software Test Engineer. Experience capturing requirements, demonstrating strong analytical skills. Experience performing system testing, documenting test cases, and working with a development team to resolve identified issues. Experience with and understanding of agile/scrum methodologies, principles, and practices. Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience implementing test automation. Experience with continuous integration and build systems, and deployment of automated tests to a continuous integration environment using Jenkins or similar tools. Experience and knowledge with the Cucumber, Ruby on Rails, Watir WebDriver, RSpec, JBehave, Selenium, Jenkins, Java, VBScript. Experience in Web Services testing.
