Responsibilities: The Human Resources Generalist will work at the iBiz Corporate Office, reporting directly to the HR Director and fulfilling the following duties:Assist with key HR processes to include recruiting, on-boarding, benefits/HRIS administration, employee relations, employee engagement, employment law compliance, and off-boardingExecute administrative duties while providing high-energy service to employees and managersMaintain HR department records and reports in areas of assigned responsibilitiesAssist in the development and implementation of HR practices and procedures to ensure efficient departmental operations and compliance with applicable regulationsAssist with conducting periodic audits of internal systemsManage and maintain personnel records, including tracking I-9's and jury duty and bereavement leaveAssist with reconciliation of all benefit billsSupport the Accounting Department with payroll changes *The above list is not designed to cover, and does not contain, a comprehensive list of duties and responsibilities required. Required Skills, Education, Certifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience with Human Resources in an assistant roleMust be process-oriented with a focus on efficiencyAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work independently and on a teamMust be extremely detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to adapt to changing prioritiesMust be able to work in a highly confidential environmentStrong oral and written communications and presentation skillsAdvanced MS Office Suite skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and WordMust be able to travel to DC location as neededNon-local travel to government sites may be required; anticipated at 10%Must have a current working knowledge of employment law and regulations including Title VII, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, ERISA, COBRA, PPACA, Section 125, and unemployment and labor laws across multiple states Preferred:PHR/SPHR/GPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCPPrevious experience with ADP and iCIMS applicant tracking systemExperience with government contracting, EEO, VETS, and Affirmative Action Plan Physical Demands The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
