We are looking for a part-time, Mid-Senior level Human Resources Manager with atleast 6-10 years of broad-based and progressively responsible experience in customer service and human resources. Must have proven ability to work with senior management team to integrate the human resource function within the overall business operating strategy. Must have experience with supporting federal contractor start-ups and associated HR operations management. Experience with Contracts Administration is highly desirable. The ideal candidate would have experience in Employee Relations, Organization Development, Staffing Requirements, HR Policy & Design & Administration, Recruitment & Employment, Team Building, Employee & Labor Law, Compensation & Benefits Administration , Sexual Harassment/EEO, Training and Development, and AAP & OFCCP compliance. Contracts Administration related experience such as processing Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Contract Closeouts etc is highly preferred. Responsibilities would include but not limited to: (i) prepare and maintain employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.(ii) Perform benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, reviewing invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.(iii) Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, interns and temporary employees; conducts new‚Äźemployee orientations; and writing and placing advertisements.(iv) Maintain human resource records and compiles reports from databases.(v) Support processing and management of payroll related taxes, retirement, garnishments, liens and all benefit deductions.(vi) Process employee terminations to ensure compliance with regulations (vii) Provide project administrative support on contracts as required including processing security clearance forms (viii) Contract administration support as needed. (ix) Support operational activities as requested by management including visits to sites in the Greater Metropolitan Washington DC area. The company is based in Fairfax County, VA. Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent from an accredited, brick-n-mortar 4-year academic institution as well as excellent written and verbal communications skills in English. Must be able to pass a background check and provide three references if requested. Must have US Citizenship and have the ability to obtain a federal security clearance if needed.
