Community Developer III- LCSW
Entry to full performance level professional community services, liaison and public relations work Participate in the collection, analysis and summarization of data relating to the administration of the programs assigned. Master's degree in business or Public Administration, Social Science, Psychology, or a related field plus one (1) year responsible work experience that includes: (1) coordinating program activities and case management related to human services; (2) compiling data and preparing reports; and (3) working with a variety of private individuals, organizations, and Local/State agencies. Program Monitoring and Oversight: Responsible for monitoring and providing oversight services to objectively and systematically monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of program services toward agency/program goals and objectives and to assess progress toward their achievement. Coordinates data collection, evaluation, and tracking activities for fiscal an programmatic compliance related to assigned programs Monitors progress that contract providers are making towards contract goals and assesses program effectiveness. Conduct site visits to ensure compliance as outlined in the contract. Review and make recommendations for approval of program budgets, budget modifications and payments to designated programs or providers Assist in the preparation of Scope of Services and budgets for assigned programs. Provide technical assistance and training for providers as necessary. Completes a variety of statistical and statically and program reports necessary to ensure continuation of local, state, or federal assistance. Board Development for Local Management Board: Work with the Director to systematically enhance and improve the operations and effectiveness of the Board Represents Local Management Board at various community meetings and serve, participate on County task forces, work groups, committees and initiatives when appropriate. Provides support to Administrator for the Administration for children, Youth and Families, in preparing for bi-monthly meetings; this includes drafting agendas, board meeting minutes, board packets, etc. Draft memorandums, reports and orientation booklets for members Coordinates and prepares special project reports as required by grant agencies, federal agencies or other funding sources Plans and monitors expenditures of designated budgets through the development of a tracking system and regular reports to the Director Administrative Support: Provides technical assistance to grant funded programs and support the County's System reform efforts. Perform full performance level professional work in the areas of community liaison/development/advocacy. Provide general Information and Referral services to citizens of Prince George's County Support special events, workshops and conferences to support the mission of the Administration for children, Youth and Families Provides research and report writing as requested Other Related Duties: Performs other tasks and duties as assigned which may not be specifically listed in the class specification or position description, but which fall within the general occupational category and responsibility level typically associated with the incumbents class of work.
