Saidman DesignLaw Group, llc has an opportunity for an outstanding individual to join our team as Firm Administrator. We are an intellectual property boutique law firm located in downtown Silver Spring. Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience with office administration/management at a law firm (IP law a definite plus). The position will require the successful candidate to demonstrate a high degree of competence in the following areas: . Business - financial reporting and analysis, accounting administration (medium-advanced Excel skills), budgeting, and possessing a knack for seeing the big picture when reviewing financial information. . Operations - infrastructure maintenance (office equipment, space management, etc.); IT troubleshooting/management; software administration and maintenance; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word and advanced Excel). Experience in ProLaw is a plus. . HR - problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; team-building and personnel management; recruiting/hiring; and payroll, 401k, & benefits administration. The successful candidate will also have the following attributes: . Willingness to cheerfully stretch beyond a managerial role to help wherever needed . Flexibility to work outside normal office hours when necessary . Strong organizational skills and the ability to be a self-starter . Ability to maintain strict confidentiality . Outstanding attention to detail combined with exceptional spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills . Excellent listening, comprehension and communication skills - the ability to establish and maintain an effective means of communication and close collaboration with all firm members and staff is very important . Ability to take direction and operate fairly independently . Flexible, can-do, positive attitude . Strong leadership qualities (eg, punctual, reliable, hard-working, team player, etc.) .
