1. Must be available on a regular and emergency basis to take professional responsibility for the consumers' medication, hospitalization, and other medical decisions. 2. Provides oversight to clinical and administrative staff to help maintain and continuously improve the quality of care (eg, help develop metrics and periodically analyze processes and results to monitor the success of person-directed approaches. 3. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team (IDT), the family, and allied services within and outside of the organization to encourage planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical services to maximize consumers' choice, quality of life, and quality of care. 4. Applies legal precedents that relate to ethical conduct and consumers' rights. 5. Must be available and punctual on a regularly scheduled and emergency basis to provide clinical psychiatric services which consists of the oversight and management of consumer's medication, hospitalizations and other medical decisions. 6. Must be professionally responsible for the provision of the mental health services delineated in its approved provider agreement. 7. Organizes coordinates and monitors the activities of the clinical staff and ensures that the quality and appropriateness of services meets community standards. 8. Facilitates the activities of the interdisciplinary team in conjunction with the Clinical Manager. 9. Must certify all medically necessary services that are identified in the treatment plan. 10. Participates in the monitoring of care within the clinic through a quality assurance program that encourages self-evaluation, anticipates and plans for change and meets regulations. 11. Participates in the development, organization, and delivery of education programs for consumers', consumers' families, board members, and the community at large. 12. Other duties assigned deemed relative and appropriate. Qualifications/Related Factors o Must possess current District of Columbia physician and/or specialty licenses, certifications/registrations. o Must have 5 years of experiencing directing clinical/psychiatric services in a mental/behavioral health organization. o Must possess a valid local driver's license and have reliable transportation. o Must have the ability to work varied hours and be on call to respond to clinical emergencies/crisis. o Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills Company Description: AMAZING LOVE HEALTH SERVICES, LLC (ALHS) is a qualified health center.
