CGH has an exciting opportunity for a seasonedSystem Administrator to join the CGH Team. Purpose: Support customer data warehouse environment. Responsibilities:Support servers such as Solaris and Linux architectures and support of multiple COTS products such as WebSphere, glassfish, FUSE, Oracle, CMS, ESRI, proxies and BMC Patrol.Provide engineering, installation, configuration, and administration of WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server and Solaris, Linux, and Windows and automation.Install fixpacks, eFixes, and cumulative fixes to the existing infrastructure and automated it.Write wsadmin - JACL, Jython and ANT scripts to automate various WAS administration and deployment tasks such as JVM and resource configurations, J2EE application deployment, ear/war/jar installation, backups, JVM export/import, etc.Responsible for installation, configuration and maintenance of WebSphere Application Server (Base and ND).Architect the environment using Horizontal and Vertical clusters for a fault-tolerant, scalable, and highly available WebSphere environment for applications.Expertise in supporting enterprise based distributed applications over a wide range of operating environments on a 24/7 rotation basis for high volume, secure transactions and Web services.Create resources, modify properties, view runtime attributes, commit modifications and securing administrative servers using Authentication, Authorization, Certificates, Credentials, Permissions, WebSphere Resources (Servlets, JSP files, HTML files).Maintain and support F5 load balancers.Assist in trouble shooting of network devices when needed.Perform system administration including capacity planning, storage management, system performance tuning, and system software installation/configuration support. Provide system hardware support, system security, vendor coordination, configuration management, contingency management, network management, and system/application monitoring support for production Sun Solaris Enterprise servers.Use and administer Concurrent Versions System (CVS), rsync, Korn shell scripting, OpenSSH, and the free Tortoise CVS Windows client for control and configuration management to support source code control for CMMI and ISO 9001-certified organization. Support multi-node, high-availability IBM Websphere Java Application Server environment used for Customer essential applications. Qualifications Number of Years Experience Required:15+ years of experience as a System Administrator5+ years of Virualization experience Minimum Education and Certifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Technical Skills Required: Operating Systems - SunOS/Solaris (2.5.1, 6, 7, 8,9,10 and 11), Linux Redhat/debian/mandrake,Ubuntu, AIX 4/5L, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 6.1 Servers & HPUX familiarity (10.2/11.0), UNIX.Applications - Websphere V4-8.5.5, Oracle Application Server 11i, vi utils, ESRI, CheckPoint Firewall-1 Management GUI, Veritas Volume ManagerDiskSuite (capable), Sun Volume Manager, Sun Cluster, Common officeproductivity applications including F5, EMC Clariion, IBM HTTP Web Server. Computer Skills: Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:U.S. Citizen or person with valid US Work Visa who has lived in the US for 3 or more yearsExperience with ESRI.Experience working in the FAA environment a plus.Good technical documentation skills experience preferred.Ability to work independently and with the team.Ability to express ideas orally and in writing.Ability to plan and prioritize work.
