The Fruit Expert ensures Edible Arrangements service standards are met and surpassed by providing Guests with prompt, quality product selection, purchase, and preparation. Summary of Key Responsibilities: Demonstrates a strong understanding of product knowledge and quality standards.Develops enthusiastically satisfied Guests all of the timeWelcomes and connects with every Guest to provide excellent Guest ServiceDiscover Guest needs and appropriately suggests product with every Guest to enhance service and meet sales goalsAssists Guests in the selection and purchase of Edible Arrangements and other products offered by Edible ArrangementsUses effective sales approaches and displays strong knowledge of product lineEffectively converts Guest inquiries into salesBuilds long-term relationships and builds the trust and loyalty of GuestsResponds to Guest needsMaintains Guest Service area and equipment in a clean and appealing mannerDemonstrates "just say yes" behavior when taking care of Guest needsManages difficult Guest situations in a calm and professional mannerMaintains Quality Store OperationsAs needed, prepares a variety of fruit arrangements, dipped fruit and ETG products to Edible Arrangements standardsFollows store policies and procedures for operational flow at each stationPerforms cleaning tasks in accordance with the cleaning standards and works as a store team playerPresents oneself professionally and demonstrates clear communication by using Fruit Expert skills with all Guests and co-worker interactionsFollows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products Financial ContributionFollows cash handling and register policiesFollows inventory stocking and recording guidelinesTakes responsibility to learn all aspects of the Fruit Expert positionLearns and demonstrates creating the Edible Arrangements ExperienceLearns and performs duties of Guest Service, production, and/or delivery driver as neededLearns and demonstrates all performance standards by completing In Store Training Experience and utilizes computer based training on ongoing basis. Qualifications and Skills Required:High School Diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience working in Guest Service or food service establishment preferredExcellent Guest Service and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to sell and up-sell productsGood math and money handling skillsAbility to lift, carry and/or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs.Positive attitudeEnjoys working within a teamEnjoys working in a fast-paced environmentDrive and determinationDesire for personal and professional growthValid State Driver's License and a clean driving recordComputer skills including Microsoft software and register skillsAbility to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift
