Amazon Web Services are continuing to Pioneer in the Public Sector and are now hiring a program manager to take ownership of the tools, training, process improvements, internal communications & other enablement programs that will help us effectively support the internal AWS WWPS partner program.The Sales Enablement - Partner Program Manager will work closely with other members of the Global Sales Enablement team to ensure AWS's public sector partner organization is well-equipped with the content, training, and knowledge of available resources to effectively support AWS's growing partner ecosystem.The successful candidate will combine a solid understanding of sales and marketing dynamics with the ability to synthesize business requirements and corporate resources into a comprehensive enablement strategy. This individual will work closely with the internal Partner Team and other cross-functional and global stakeholders (Marketing, Capture, etc) to introduce process efficiencies and optimized business practices. This person will create an optimized partnership between our customer facing sales team and our partner-focused team, improving training, information sharing, and teaming opportunities, thereby creating overall value for AWS partners and customers.Responsibilities* Perform detailed needs assessments in collaboration with the Partner, Marketing, and Business Operations teams. Translate business needs into tools, training, and process enhancements.* Develop and lead the successful execution of cross-functional enablement programs for internal WWPS partner team.* For each assigned initiative, develop and own a project plan and communication strategy with relevant business leaders* Plan and facilitate OR scale existing onboarding, skills development, tools training, account planning and other improvement opportunities.* Assist in the development and scaling of the master plan and schedule for sales enablement activities throughout the year, working closely with Sales Enablement manager and global colleagues.* Conduct continuous feedback tracking and socialization efforts, providing timely and targeted content for partner enablement and continuous learning for field sales teams.* Design and implement metrics to measure enablement programs and impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility. Measure and report on the effectiveness of enablement investments.* Ability to work in our Ballston and Herndon, VA officesBasic Qualifications* 5-8 years of proven sales operations, field sales training, partner support or sales enablement experience with increasing influence and responsibility* Bachelors Degree or commensurate experience* Demonstrated experience taking strategic visions and concepts and developing into structured plans, actions and measureable metrics; experience executing plans to deliver results* Experience working with program, project, and performance managementPreferred Qualifications* Must be comfortable proposing solutions with sales and partner team leaders across multiple domains* Entrepreneurial skills with experience scaling/developing new programs and concepts within organizations* Experience using sales or customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics* Experience maintaining curriculum in Learning Management System* Excellent understanding of local public sector business standards and communications skills including, presenting, editing, and writing.* Detail-oriented and highly organized individual with ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in work products.Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendReferShare on your newsfeedPosted by StartWire.
