Mobius is a fast growing and award-winning systems engineering company. We are recruiting to fill a new position for a reverse engineer. The Reverse Engineer will support operational teams by performing research for defensive Cyber Security solutions. The individual will be involved in identifying key research topics and hypothesizing and developing viable technical capabilities. They will also be involved in determining mitigation techniques and will work with others to provide assistance and technical solutions for defensive resolution. This full-time salaried position serves onsite with the client in Centreville, VA. This position requires an energetic candidate that can coordinate multiple tasks while operating in a high ops tempo environment. This position requires some travel within the United States. Job Tasks and Responsibilities: . Identify key research topics and determine potential mitigation techniques . Provide assistance and technical solutions for defensive resolution . Determine and assist others with discovering evidence of malicious tools and actions . Develop technical solutions for information operations and analyzing issues related to national security topics . Ability to conduct intrusion analysis, malware, systems and vulnerabilities, network security and identify security issues of existing platforms and applications . Use advanced analytic tools and data visualization techniques . Develop algorithms and methods for detecting and preventing network attacks Education and Experience: . Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Security, Information Systems or related field . 10+ years' relevant professional experience and training in IT systems and computer security . 10+ years' experience with research in at least one of the following: cyber security, reverse engineering, vulnerability research, or exploit development . Experience with various network security tools . Knowledge of Windows, UNIX or Linux-based operating systems . Ability to analyze all-source intelligence material and develop new tactics, techniques, and procedures to meet strategic and operational needs .
