Space Power Electronics Engineer
TAD PGS, INC. is currently seeking a Space Power Electronics Engineer for one of our clients in Laurel, MD. Job Overview: The position is an electrical engineering role that will perform and provide support in design, analysis, and hands- on testing of analog and mixed signal prototype and flight hardware. As space flight hardware is exposed to harsh environments, our engineers must produce rugged designs that deliver highly reliable product performance to our civilian and military customers. The engineer will be exposed to all phases of the product life-cycle including requirements definition, concept creation, detailed implementation, test and integration, and flight mission support. Major Responsibilities: *Circuit design and analysis *Design troubleshooting *Laboratory test *Ground support electronics design *Technical trade studies *Component selection *Spaceflight hardware design of both analog circuit and digital circuits *Using laboratory equipment such a DVMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers *Will most likely utilize a CAD tool, preferably Mentor Basic Hiring Criteria: *Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Desired Qualifications: *Familiar with electrical engineering design/analysis tools such as SPICE and Cadence Company Description: At TAD PGS, Inc., we've been providing human resources solutions to the government sector for over 50 years.
