Account Manager Berkeley Communications (BerkCom) is a technology value-added reseller (VAR) with a strong focus on Enterprise Data Storage. We are headquartered in Northern California and have been doing business for over 15 years. BerkCom is expanding throughout the United States and we are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager in Vienna, VA. Summary: This position is focused on selling BerkCom's portfolio of products and professional services to drive revenue growth in the Federal and SLED (State, Local Government and Education) spaces. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, working closely with internal and partner sales and engineering teams to architect custom storage solutions, and maintaining the customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales cycle. Primary Responsibilities: . Identify target accounts . Develop an account management plan to deliver solutions based on the customer's business needs . Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers and key executives within targeted accounts . Quote and close deals by leveraging internal and external tools and resources . Work with pre & post-sales engineering teams to deliver the highest quality customer service and support . Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturer and distributor partners . Continue to stay educated on emerging technologies and industry trends . Create and manage a pipeline that meets or exceeds established sales goals Qualifications: . Desire to be part of a growing business . Ability to operate in a dynamic, entrepreneur-led company . Highly resourceful, self-motivated individual . Must be able to work independently, as well as work well in a team environment . Willingness to travel to customer locations . Strong verbal and written communication skills . Proven track record selling technology solutions (hardware, software and services) through prospecting, cold calling, and networking . Experience working with SalesForce . NetApp experience is a plus Education & Experience: . 3-5 years of sales experience is required (technology sales preferred) . Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree is required .
